Tab Trade - The Short Version
TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade went the other way. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that launched in March 2026, the breadth is solid.
Platforms
Available: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from one account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both is useful. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is the default. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders find it more natural after comparing.
FIX API is offered for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be coming. That would make the platform set when it lands.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your all-in cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade has no minimum.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not for most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
The speed is the area where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.
Combine that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Now, the part that matters. TabTrade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
But. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. It does be part of your decision.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether this deal works depends on you.
The Bonus
TabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, they add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.
